Educational Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must possess a strong academic background from SSC level through to their post-graduation.
- Degree: Post-graduate degree (including thesis) in Biotechnology or related subjects from a recognized university.
- Class/CGPA: At least three 1st divisions/classes or equivalent CGPA from SSC to Post-graduate level; no 3rd division/class is acceptable.
- Experience: Research experience during the thesis is part of the educational requirement.

Examination Process:
The selection process for the Scientific Officer position at NIB consists of a written examination followed by a viva voce (oral examination).
