ব্যাখ্যা: Simple Sentence বা সরল বাক্যে একটিমাত্র Subject এবং একটিমাত্র Finite Verb থাকে। ‘I saw an old man walking past me’ বাক্যে ‘I’ হলো সাবজেক্ট এবং ‘saw’ হলো একমাত্র সমাপিকা ক্রিয়া (Finite Verb)। ‘walking’ এখানে Participle হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
